Sereysothea Sao is a co-founder of Khmer Super Plantfood, helping to combat post-harvest income losses among small farming communities by using solar technology to transform unwanted fruits and nuts into nutrient-dense snack options. Her start-up was recently awarded grant funding by the Singapore International Foundation as a part of Young Social Entrepreneurs Global (YSE) programme. In addition, Sothea is enthusiastic about sustainable and inclusive market development, particularly in food systems. She holds a Master in Global Food and Agricultural Business from Australia and also experiences over 7 years in market research, enterprise development, trade and investment promotion in Agri-food and WASH sector.
